Associate Attorney In addition to litigating family law matters, the Associate Attorney's duties may include but are not limited to legal research, legal analysis, preparing memoranda of law, drafting pleadings, drafting correspondence to clients and opposing counsel, and assisting the other Team members in preparations for hearings and in court. Will initially be assigned to relatively simple matters and is expected to progress to handling more complex matters.
The candidate should have 1-2 years of litigation experience and a desire to focus on litigation going forward. Strong litigation skills, a sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and manage their expectations are critical to this position. Must be able to work efficiently in a high-stress and often fast-paced environment. Must also be willing to take direction from the Team and motivated to learn.
