Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be assisting the attorneys in the acceptance, organization, investigation and resolution of litigation matters; drafting court documents including complaints, answers, motions, correspondence and memos; drafting interrogatories and other discovery as well as complex pleadings, conferring with all parties involved; docketing; keeping schedules; maintaining files; monitoring progress, and following up to ensure all required actions are completed. 2+ years' paralegal experience strongly preferred. A degree in Paralegal Technology or Business is preferred. Must have an NC Notary Public commission or the ability to obtain the same. Should preferably have a strong work ethic; exceptional time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent client communications and service; proficient technology skills, including, but not limited to, MS Office Suite, PDF, and general online research; and meticulous attention to detail with strong proofreading skills. Must be able to work independently, collaborating with team members as needed. Must also have a good understanding of the litigation and discovery process. Federal Court experience is a plus.
