Paralegal - Banking Department The candidate will organize and prepare pre-closing and final documents for closing, preserving files within the firm's computer system. Know how to collaborate closing disclosures with the lenders. Prepare CEMA s, 255 s, Schedule A Mortgage Schedules. Ability to fully review CEMA collateral documents./ Coordinate with parties to schedule closings. Comfortable liaising with lenders to process mortgage loans, and provide required documentation/ Ability to read and comprehend title reports, mortgage schedules and municipal search reports, determine what documentation is required in response to those searches, and obtain the required documentation. Interface directly with title companies and surveyors to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Administer contract critical dates and prepare and administer closing checklists. Coordinate federal/local filings/recordings of legal documents and track receipt relating to those filings. Specific experience with processing and closing residential mortgage transactions as a settlement agent is required. Heavy real estate transactional purchase and sale knowledge is required. Must be familiar with current real estate closing customs and procedures, including TRID, CEMA and web-based platforms. 3+ years of real estate transactional work experience required. High School diploma, required. Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
