Attorney The candidate will handle litigation files in the areas of personal injury protection (PIP), auto liability and first and third party property damage cases. Will defend PIP, auto, 1st and 3rd party property damage lawsuits against various insurance carriers. Research laws, prepare legal briefs, opinions and memoranda. Render opinions on liability, damage and case values as requested by the claims representative. Conduct and defend Depositions, Examinations Before Trial and/or Examinations Under Oath. Defend by trial or pre-trial proceedings, all litigations as assigned. Must be licensed and admitted to practice law in the State of Florida. Should preferably have 1+ year of PIP litigation experience. Aderant Total Office and Juris knowledge a plus. Must have a solid understanding of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, experience with case analysis, drafting motions, discovery and trial preparation. Should have prior courtroom and deposition experience and the ability to handle a high volume of cases.
