Immigration Paralegal The candidate will analyze client documents and draft, review, and prepare immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions/applications such as E-1/2/3, H-1B, L1A/B, O-1, TN, EB1-A/B/C, I-485 Adjustment of Status, Immigrant Visa, I-130, I-751, I-131, and N-400 Naturalization filings for attorney review. Demonstrate mastery of multiple case types, continually builds on knowledge and develops expertise in new areas; independently handles entire cases; coordinates and oversees flow of caseload. Communicate regularly with clients regarding procedural and case processing issues, often serving as main point of contact. Draft specialized support letters detailing eligibility for complex visa classifications. Independently conduct research on immigration regulations and procedures and obtain information such as background on a company or industry, current wages, processing procedures, standard processing times, etc.. Communicate with government agencies to obtain necessary information for the attorney regarding potential process delays/problems and ensures these are addressed and resolved. Generate internal caseload reports for management to ensure effective quality assurance and to assist in client management. Submit client billing requests to accounting department. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) experience is required. Should have 5+ years of U.S. business immigration experience. Knowledge of immigration and nationality law matters and mastery of multiple case types, including E-1/2/3, H, L, TN, O, P, EB1 and family AOS & IV filings is required. Paralegal certificate is preferred.
