Family Law Attorney The candidate will work in litigate a family law matter from start to finish with first chair courtroom experience in the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and branch courts. The firm currently handles: custody, visitation, support, protective orders, and all other aspects of Divorce. Must have prior trial, RFO and hearing experience before private judge and Superior Courts in Southern CA for complex high dollar financial cases, high stakes child custody cases including cross examination of expert witnesses. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills are required. Depose and defend depositions, conduct mediation, and hearings are required. Draft legal documents with strong organization, planning, prioritization, and time management skills. Communicate eloquently and clearly with clients of various levels of sophistication regarding divorce matters are required. Communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including outside attorneys, senior management, clients, and support staff with a high-level of personal and professional integrity are required. Experience with law firm operations and managing a small law firm are required. Family law trial experience is required. Eligible candidates must be licensed in California. CFLS a plus.
