Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate responsibilities include: Process incoming mail for assigned cases; File and serve case documents (including E-Filing); Word processing and document management; Drafting and transmittal of outgoing correspondence; Maintain calendar on assigned cases; Assist with overflow and special projects in addition to day-to-day tasks'; Coordinate travel arrangements, preparing expense reports and other tasks as needed. Must have Associates Degree or higher. Should have 1-3 years experience working in law firm environment. Must have knowledge of state and federal rules of civil procedure and rules of court. Should have knowledge of federal CM/ECF filing procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is needed. Must have knowledge of rules-based calendaring software.
