Legal Assistant/Paralegal Duties: The candidate will be performing basic Administrative tasks. Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and discovery. Answering phone calls/emails from clients. Scanning and organizing client files and documents. Maintaining general contact with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Case management. Research for cases. Keeping up with the calendar.
Qualifications: The candidate should have a 1-3 year level of experience. Paralegal certification or diploma. Should preferably have High school or equivalent. Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system. Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office. Computer literacy (knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe is a must). Excellent secretarial and organizational skills. Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure.
