Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate should have High school diploma. Associate's degree, paralegal certificate or Bachelor's degree preferred. Should have 2-5 years of experience as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, legal secretary or paralegal. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook and use of office equipment. Knowledge of summarizing and reviewing medical records preferred. Should have ability to multi-task, manage large workloads and keep deadlines. Should have ability to draft pleadings and various types of correspondence to doctors, insurance companies and attorneys.
