Real Estate Legal Secretary The candidate will perform real estate legal support work. Under the direction of an attorney, the legal secretary will prepare documents and settlement statements, perform file management tasks, and interact with lenders, real estate agents, buyers and sellers. Additional duties include maintenance of calendars, typing correspondence and general office responsibilities. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills; organizational skills; computer skills; attention to detail, as well as the ability to convey information effectively; and work efficiently with a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task, provide excellent customer service and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) required. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a team, learn new skills, and retain the information required. Experience in and broad-based knowledge of commercial and residential real estate matters, including but not limited to preparation of title insurance policies, is preferred.
