Transactional / Commercial Real Estate Legal Secretary The candidate will be editing and revising large volumes of real estate legal documents; closing binders; transcription, maintaining calendars and tracking deadlines. A Bachelors degree strongly preferred. Should preferably have 7+ years of prior experience in the real estate/transactional area of law. Must have strong knowledge of the transactional real estate practice area as well as experience in preparing initial drafts of real estate specific documents, proofing, assembling and organizing documents including leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, escrow instructions, opinion letters and closing binders. Good interpersonal/client interaction skills, high level of proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, electronic and written calendaring skills, excellent organizational skills, proactive, resourceful and the ability to multi-task and prioritize are a must. Excellent software and administrative skills including redlining and document comparison is essential, and have an excellent understanding of formatting and document conversion. Additionally, excellent spelling and proofreading skills are required. Typing of 65+ wpm is essential. Knowledge of specific real estate forms and software: CAR and AIA forms, WinAIR Forms essential. Experience with: Office 365, Timeslips and Adobe Acrobat essential. Experience with Worldox GX4 a plus. Excellent computer skills, general working knowledge of networks, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues strongly preferred.
