Paralegal - Family Law The candidate will be responsible for communicating with clients, keeping documentation and client files updated, and ensuring clients receive exceptional client service. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, correspondence, and discovery. Conferring with clients, answering telephones, scheduling appointments and consultations. Managing deadlines pursuant to the Rules of Civil Procedure; preparing trial notebooks, coordinating witnesses, and conducting legal research. Providing exceptional customer service to our clients. General office duties. If bilingual may also assist with translating for Spanish-speaking clients. Should preferably have an Associate degree, and 3+ years of paralegal family law experience. Prior experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat software. Must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to detail. Must be well organized, efficient, and able to prioritize tasks accordingly.
