Associate Attorney Duties: work directly with clients in family law, criminal defense and business law as a primary practice, many of clients are high needs. Write motion practice, answering discovery, trial briefs, the occasional appellate brief and lots of emails. Court appearances almost every day. Qualifications: JD Degree. Prefer someone that is going to graduate soon, has already graduated and is taking the Bar/just took the Bar or someone that has already passed the Bar. Prefer someone that has courtroom experience whether it is in the practice of law, trial advocacy or a clinic. Prefer someone that is self-motivated and driven. Prefer someone that wants to stay with us long term and is looking to make our office their home for the foreseeable future and beyond. Love to have someone that speaks another language. Must have a desire to be in the courtroom.
