Experienced Paralegal Duties: Maintain calendar for self, and coordinate with assigned to attorneys to ensure appropriate and timely docketing of deadlines and events. Ensure attorneys have all documents and files needed for meetings, depositions, or court appearances. Schedule depositions as requested and ensure scheduling of court reporter. Process incoming and outgoing mail daily that is addressed or directed to you or assigned attorneys. Notify proper attorney and/or staff of any time-sensitive correspondence and follow up to ensure a timely response. Mail, fax, or arrange for delivery of legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, and court officials. Locate and communicate with witnesses and keep accurate records of the contents of the communications and the contact information for witnesses. Timely save all documents to the proper electronically maintained client directory. Assist attorneys as needed in obtaining and reviewing various records. Attend meetings as requested and take notes as needed. Ensure that contact information is kept current on all files including case sheets, any billing changes and witness files. Assist in discovery and trial preparation as needed. Prepare and maintain online directories and subdirectories. Should preferably have Bachelor's degree. Probate experience preferred. Should be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with other Microsoft Office products.
