Paralegal/Legal Assistant/Legal Receptionist - Defense Litigation The candidate will cover phones, organize files, draft correspondence, motions and provide general support for attorneys as needed. Will utilize case management systems to ensure legal matters progress in a timely manner. Preparing and processing legal documents and correspondence with a high level of accuracy. Communicating with courts and clients to obtain information as needed. Continuously updating internal system and client communication portals throughout the day. Prioritizing daily responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met. Assisting with accounting and billing - and other administrative support as needed. Bachelor s degree (or equivalent work experience) essential. Should have 3+ years of experience working in a law firm (with a focus on Connecticut litigation). Notary certification or willingness to become a notary is a plus.
