Part-time Temporary Litigation Attorney The candidate will assist and handle defense litigation cases as assigned by in house attorney. May work for home, but provide weekly updates on all cases handled and document cases in client system. Draft substantive pleadings, discovery and motions. Respond to motions, discovery and all other court orders and pleadings. Prepare and attend hearings, depositions, negotiation conferences, settlement and arbitration meetings. First chair voir dire, jury trials and bench trials. Be familiar with civil procedure and local rules for Miami-Dade and Broward County. Litigate a large case load of civil defense litigation claims from filing to case completion. Meet with clients to present case strategies and case outcomes. Must have 3+ years of litigation experience. Should have extensive knowledge and experience in litigation. Strong negotiation skills are needed. Bilingual abilities a plus.
