Attorney The candidate will drafting, reviewing and analyzing legal documents, reports, pleadings, motions, and discovery notices and responses; appearances in court for conferences and motions; ability to perform legal research using Westlaw. Draft pleadings. Draft and answer discovers. MSJ responses and preparing MSJ. Drafting motions in limine, and pre-trial motions. Deposition preparation of clients. Evidence organization. Compelling discovery answers. Generally assisting in pre-trial matters. Ensure 100% compliance on grade cards. Ensure ethical and legal obligations of self and subordinates. Maximize case values and attorney fees recovered. Second Chair responsibilities as assigned. Ensure ethical and legal obligations of all subordinates. Additional projects, as assigned. Excellent client service skills are required. Legal research and analysis are essential. Must be able to work under pressure, follow instructions, and adhere to deadlines are essential. Superb organizational and time management skills to include meticulous attention to details are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; researching/problem-solving skills are required. Ability to use logic and reasoning to understand, analyze, and evaluate situations and exercise good judgment to make appropriate decisions. Are required. Should preferably have JD degree from an accredited law school required. Admission to the State Bar of Texas and in good standing. Must have a 1 year personal injury experience. Must be knowledgeable of applicable federal and state laws. Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and possess analytical skills necessary for competent legal interpretation. Technical proficiency are required. Must be capable of leadership and teamwork in a collaborative environment/ Spanish bilingual preferred.
