Legal Secretary Assistant Duties: Prepare, edit and proofread a wide variety of legal documents and forms. Speak with/email clients on a daily basis sometimes involving sensitive information. Light paralegal assistance. Coordinate meeting logistics. Organize and maintain attorney contacts and calendars. Answer incoming telephone calls, document, and relay messages. Organize and maintain paper and electronic files for the firm and clients. Handle accounting functions such as paying firm bills, client invoices, and processing expense reports. Input, review, edit and update attorney time entries and print reports. Ordering office supplies. Correspondence and draft pleadings. Qualifications: High School diploma. Should have 5+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a Family Law firm. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
