Immigration Paralegal The candidate will handle first contact communications with new clients, explain common immigration services and processes, and set up consultations with the immigration attorney. Follow up with new leads and prospective clients on a daily basis and have the ability to sell the services. Prepare contracts for new clients, and follow up for contract signing and payments. Open client's physical files and software profiles, take and record payments. Send questionnaires and document checklists to clients, and follow up with them on a weekly basis to make sure the firm receives all the required evidence to support the case. Keep communication with clients to gather all the required information and documentation to support their case and create the immigration packages. Follow up with clients in each step of the process and keep them informed. Assist the attorney in obtaining evidence, preparing, and sending applications to the appropriate immigration agencies. Create and maintain a record of each case accurately assuring that all the documents are available and organized. Review documentation to be filed with immigration agencies for accuracy, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements. Provide support in administrative tasks. Other office work as needed. Should have 2+ years of Immigration law experience. Spanish skills are required.
