Part-time Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant The candidate will be transcribing dictation (Phillips foot pedal) and composing correspondence. File and case management/organization. Preparing documents/pleadings for filing. Copying, faxing, scanning, and emailing documents. Answering phones. Maintaining appointments and calendars. Must be proficient with computers, specifically Microsoft Word. Preferably be experienced with QuickBooks accounting system but training can be provided. Must have strong typing skills and the ability to transcribe dictation. Should have prior secretarial experience, preferably 5+ years. Should be familiar with all aspects of criminal litigation and court procedures. Must have strong attention to detail. Must be able to work independently. Must have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities for considerable client interaction.
