Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be designated as a Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP); certification as a NALA Certified Paralegal (CP). Must possess one of the following: Time entry, billing, calendaring, preparation of discovery responses and objections, summarization of medical and other types of records, ability to assist with large document production, and all other essential paralegal skills. Conduct legal research. Update and maintain internal databases. Familiarity with capturing, entering, and billing your time in accordance with client guidelines and compliance with the firm's monthly minimum billing requirement. Should have a Two-year degree in Paralegal Studies from a U.S.-accredited school; legal experience in insurance defense; driven and organized individual that can excel in a fast-paced environment; excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, as well as proficiency in file organization and time management; an independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who seeks a challenge would be well-suited to this position; ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks; Resourceful research and analytical skills; high attention to detail. Technical proficiency with ATO (formerly Client Profiles,) iManage, Word, Outlook, and Excel would be great assets.
