Paralegal Responsibilities: Work on complex probate and trust administrations, from initial petition through final distribution. Review and prepare fiduciary accountings. Organize and maintain files. Draft petitions, orders, and other pleadings related to probate and trust administration. Prepare deeds and related real estate documents. Prepare corporate documents from beginning to end.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited school. Notary public is an asset. Civil litigation experience is a plus. 3+ years of experience in trust and estate matters. Knowledge of local court procedures. Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook. Capable to work autonomously (self-starter, self-managed) and as part of a team. Critical thinking skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Time management skills. Organizational skills. Deadline management skills.
