Associate Attorney The candidate responsibilities will include: Represent clients in court or before government agencies from inception through trial/hearing/arbitration; Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients; Advise clients on business and legal transactions; Negotiate settlements for legal disputes; Comply with all legal standards and regulations; Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Must have experience in handling complex commercial and real estate actions with experience in easement, partitions, specific performance and adverse possession cases as well as UCC, contract and business/partnership dissolution, breach of fiduciary duties; drafting of pleadings, depositions, brief writing and trial work. Should have significant experience in drafting discovery requests and the management and review of complex documents produced in discovery. Should preferably be admitted in New York and federal admission. Previous experience in law is required. Familiarity with various legal documents is needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is must.
