Employment and Business Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation and employment law. Will support all facets of discovery and trial preparation including keeping litigation calendar, document management and production, pro hac vice admissions, removal papers, coordination with counsel, exhibit preparation, witness interview memoranda and attending court hearings and trials. Should have proficiency working with electronically stored information (ESI), e-discovery and electronic court filing (CM/ECF). Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, PDF, Westlaw, and document production software such as Casemap, Summation, Iconnect, and Relativity. Knowledge of the local court systems is a must with a strong preference for knowledge of the state and federal courts in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Should be detail-oriented, possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently with little direction. Work experience will be considered in place of formal education.
