Litigation Paralegal The candidate Should have 5-7 years experience. Only candidates with prior personal injury experience will be considered for this position. Must be capable of the following: Managing plaintiff's personal injury cases from initial client intake through trial; Conducting basic liability investigation; Identifying potential defendants and obtaining insurance coverage documentation; Gathering medical bills, records, and insurance liens; Managing client relations through pre-suit medical treatment; Drafting demands letters. State and federal court litigation support experience are required. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail are required. Must have experience using PACER (federal) and COURTMAP (state) for case filing procedures. Should have understanding medical terminology. Ability to read and understand medical records is required. Competency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe and case management software is needed. Paralegal certificate is preferred. Bi-lingual candidates is desired.
