Paralegal - Family Law The candidate will be maintaining and organizing case files, including discovery coordination, managing documents and other materials produced or received in discovery, and electronic document management; Oversee all phases of discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery such as preparing responses to Form Interrogatories, document productions, Special Interrogatories, Request for Admissions, etc.; Extensive interfacing and coordinating with clients; Drafting Preliminary and Final Declaration of Disclosures; Drafting all initial Dissolution and Paternity documents such as Petitions and Declarations; Interfacing with local courts and opposing counsel telephonically and by written correspondence; Prepare deposition subpoenas for production of records; Litigation calendaring; Review and route incoming communication, e.g., faxes, emails and client correspondence, following up on deadlines as appropriate. Should have 2+ years experience in family law. Must have experience with Microsoft Office and proficiency in Word. Should have experience with a court document database, preferably Essential Forms Paralegal certificate preferred. Bilingual required (Spanish and English).
