Associate Attorney The candidate's duties include: Daily court appearances; Filing and litigating pre-trial motions from bond and protection order modifications to discovery, suppression, and motions in limine; Keeping clients up to date on the status of their cases and what to expect next; Carefully recording notes from all client interactions and court appearances; Working with investigators and expert witnesses; Trying cases to verdict; Analyzing and organizing discovery; Negotiating with prosecutors; Helping clients navigate Express Consent hearings, revocations, and license reinstatements. hould have active Colorado license in good standing; J.D. from accredited law school; Minimum 3 years of experience in criminal defense; must have an understanding of Titles 18 and 42, Criminal Procedure, 1 CCR 211-2, and 5 CCR 1005-2; Should have familiarity with DUI cases and Express Consent hearings.
