Paralegal The candidate will prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memorandum. E-file all court documents in state court. Communicate with clients, courts, counsel, state marshals, and others. Draft and serve the summons. Maintain pleadings. Aid Attorneys. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources. Help with projects. Should have an Associate's Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. Should have 2+ years of working experience as a litigation paralegal or in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting. Must have the ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as attention to detail. Must be proficient in working as a team, as well as independently. Must be able to pass a pre-hire requirement (such as background screen).
