Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury) The candidate's duties include: Draft & file initial petitions on personal injury cases; Responsible for file Review work upon personal injury cases; Reviewing & requesting Medical Records; Must be able to handle all calendaring and meet all relevant court-appointed deadlines; Tracking and documenting any subrogation liens; Utilizing Pro-Docs or other on-line/in house resource for document preparation and e-filing; Responsible for all discovery on plaintiff PI cases; Conduct Witness interviews and case investigation through telephone, written, and in-person communication; Conduct factual and Legal Research using LEXIS, and/or other on-line facilities; Responsible for handling client prep for depositions; Responsible for trial preparations including, getting notebooks ready. 3 to 5 consecutive years of personal injury paralegal work experience preferred. Excellent organization and time management skills required. Familiar with Needles Case Management Program required. Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment required. Must have Paralegal Certification Degree or minimum of 5 years Litigation Paralegal experience in Personal Injury. Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards required. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards required. Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer screen 90% of the assigned shift. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone with or without accommodations.
