Legal Secretary The candidate will receive and review all correspondence and documents received by mail, electronic service, fax and courier. Draft, prepare, proofread, finalize, file and serve legal pleadings and discovery, such as summonses, subpoenas, complaints, answers, discovery requests and responses and all moving papers. Electronically file legal documents with state and federal e-filing systems. Indexing and maintaining case files. Preparing inter-office memorandums. Preparing litigation tracking matrices. Screen and handle attorney telephone calls. Maintain and coordinate attorney calendar, meetings and travel arrangements. Some experience as a legal secretary. Detail oriented. Strong written and communication skills are required. Organizational skills are required. Ability to work with and maintain confidential information are required. Computer proficiency are required.
