Attorney (Hybrid) A Law Firm We are looking for an attorney to join our team at Group, a workers compensation defense firm that handles cases in all WCAB venues throughout California. Our ideal candidate has at least 3+ years of workers' compensation defense experience and is self-motivated, organized, and has strong communication and advocacy skills. Job Responsibilities: Manage a case load autonomously with minimal supervision Take depositions including cross-examinations and conduct witness interviews Appear at hearings and conduct law and motion practice Maintain superior client service, including responsive and prompt communications and delivering excellent work product (i.e. reports for the insurance carriers) Qualifications: 3+ years of workers' compensation defense experience Licensed to practice law in the state of California and in good standing with the California State Bar Exceptional communication, advocacy, and organizational skills Ability to work with minimal supervision in managing a case load Adept at taking depositions including cross-examinations and conducting witness interviews Excellent advocacy skills, including appearing at hearings and conducting law and motion practice Superior client service, including responsive and prompt communications and delivering excellent work product (i.e. reports for the insurance carriers) Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary Ability to work from home partially and set flexible hours Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Car allowance 401k Billing incentives How to Apply: Please submit your resume, cover letter, and writing sample to [*******@*******].
