Nurse Paralegal The candidate should be wanting an LPN/RN with a Nursing Degree with 2 years of generalist clinical nursing experience (oncology experience preferred). 1-3 years of paralegal experience is a plus. Firm cannot consider candidates with prior asbestos defense litigation experience due to conflicts. Should be able to handle large amounts of document management and medical records review. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Prior experience as a team lead or supervisor is helpful. Review and analyze case files, associated medical records, and other applicable documents for the purpose of preparing matter evaluations. Read and interpret Pathology reports. Review and outline medical records; index and summarize documents. On-Call, after hours on a rotation basis to arrange autopsies with client, funeral home and coroner. Accepts new assignments, when necessary, to meet business goals.
