Paralegal - Probate & Trust Administration The candidate will draft, read, and interpret legal documents, including trustee appointments and resignations and trust amendments. Prepare probate inventories, court filings and probate accountings. Produce summaries and accountings for trust beneficiaries. Input information for fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), gift tax returns (Form 709) and estate tax returns (Form 706). Communicate with trust and estate beneficiaries regarding distributions. Attend trust beneficiary meetings. Assist in retitling assets, identifying provisions, and executing principal payments. General administrative duties as needed. Should have 3+ years of probate and trust administration experience in a law firm. Proficiency with cloud-based applications such as Office, WealthDocx, CRM software (Clio) and tax preparation software is required. Massachusetts Notary Public is a plus. DISC Profile is preferred.
