Litigation Paralegal Needed for Fast-Growing Law Firm Duties: Responsible for every aspect of their assigned cases from the date of injury through appeals. Draft motions; arrange and coordinate depositions and mediations; coordinate with clients, handle discovery; summarize depositions; create trial notebooks and all pre-trial documents and exhibits. Maintain the litigation calendar, including discovery deadlines, hearings, and appointments for attorneys. Participate in trial preparation and be able to attend assigned trial dates, sometimes requiring out-of-town travel. Qualifications: Should have 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal in litigation. Experience in multiple jurisdictions. Must be highly organized, have good communication skills, be detail-oriented, must be able to maintain a high-volume docket, and be self-motivated to complete tasks quickly and efficiently. Psychic abilities are a plus. Must know how to E-File/E-Serve documents at state and federal levels. Strong emphasis on drafting court-ready form pleadings, discovery requests and responses (interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admissions), and supporting attorneys in preparing for depositions. Spanish speaking is a plus. Must have excellent skills in communicating professionally with clients and keeping them informed of their case status. Must be able to work with a team and be willing to learn.
