Paralegal / Legal Assistant The candidate will be preparing court filings, preparing court forms, administering probate and trust estates, setting up court hearings, maintaining office and court calendar, client intake. Should have 5+ consecutive years working in a law office. Prefer experience in probate and/or litigation. Must have ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Must know how to maintain and process files for a law office. Must understand how to e-file document with courts. Must have strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and be a self-starter. Must have excellent computer skills, including Adobe Acrobat Professional (including, assembling and bookmarking PDF documents, Bates stamping and redacting documents using Adobe Acrobat), Dropbox, gmail, office calendaring, billing, and all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel). Must know how to scan documents and maintain documents on cloud programs, e.g., Dropbox. Licensed as notary a plus.
