Paralegal The candidate will draft and review family law-related pleadings including petitions and motions, decrees, pretrial statements, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and orders. Coordinate discovery and respond to discovery requests. Prepare correspondence to clients, experts, court personnel and opposing attorneys. Track court dates and deadlines. Participate in and prepare documentation for meetings with clients and organize and maintain client files. Prepare exhibits and trial and hearing notebooks. Gather and assemble relevant case materials for court hearings, deposition, and settlement conferences. Track billable time in PC Law practice management software. Should have 3+ years of experience in family law or civil litigation experience. College degree preferred. Basic knowledge and understanding of Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedures and its complexities. In-depth knowledge of procedures and court deadlines and requirements specific to family law cases. Detail-oriented, high degree of organizational skills, and strong ability to multi-task. Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office. Self-motivated and organized while working through multiple projects and prioritizing tasks assigned. Needs to be assertive, proactive, and able to clearly communicate with clients and firm attorneys.
