Family Law Associate Attorney Candidate will be providing family law clients legal advice, preparing legal paperwork, appearing at hearings, managing a family law case load and making appropriate decisions in the cases assigned. May include: communication with clients and opposing party/counsel, court filings, document drafting, preparing and appearing for hearings, trials, depositions, and any other related case matters, preparation of pleadings and discovery, overseeing support staff, as needed. Qualifications: JD Degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved law school. 2 years of attorney experience, 4 years' preferred. 2+ years in court system proceedings, 4 years' preferred. Excellent typing, grammar and proofreading skills. Knowledge of the policies and procedures relating to the San Diego Court Systems. Familiarity with Family Law matters from inception to Judgment. Strong client management skills. Strong family law legal proceedings knowledge. Must be a strong multi-tasker, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and work both independently and in a team environment.
