Litigation Paralegal The candidate will provide paralegal services for two medical malpractice litigation attorneys including such tasks as managing and organizing data, formatting legal documents, transcribing dictation, keeping track of client case expenses, coordination of client subrogation liens, ordering of medical and medical billing records, coordinating 3rd party vendors (court reporters, videographers, etc.), intake calls, and various other administrative tasks. Must exhibit strong typing skills. Ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new computer software programs (fluent in MS Office software required) required. Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills required. Ability to interact professionally with all levels within the firm as well as those outside the firm required. Exceptional organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to multi-task a high volume of time-sensitive responsibilities required. Ability to prioritize, work independently, and problem solve required. Ability to work with minimal supervision, be a team player with willingness to assist other staff, when needed, and be committed to providing a high level of client service required. Knowledge of Federal and State court practices, procedures, and electronic filing required. Associates or 4-year college degree preferred. Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA paralegal program a plus. 3 years related paralegal experience in litigation. Litigation, medical malpractice, and personal injury experience required.
