Associate Civil Attorney The candidate will prepare and file legal documents in both state and federal courts, including e- filings. Prepare trial and hearing documents in both state and federal courts. Work with experienced mentors in a collaborative, team environment that provides the opportunity to grow. Receive top-notch mentorship, engage in effective client development. Grow and develop their litigation skills and practice. Keep up-to-date on developing case law. Research and preparation of memorandums. Provide case analysis and strategy regarding active matters. Document control and data management in production and discovery. Prepare and finalize letters, pleadings, motions, etc. Case Management, from open to close. Communicate with courts, clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel; and work well with other members of the Firm. Should preferably have an Associate licensed in Texas to primarily handle personal injury defense cases in Dallas County and surrounding areas with opportunities for immediate in-person court appearances and depositions. Must have 3-5 years of experience in litigation in a law firm with a Bar Licence preferred. Must be an expert in legal research and writing, and comfortable attending court appearances; able to work autonomously and handle cases without micromanagement from a senior attorney in a team environment; an organized, flexible, and a (most importantly) hard-working associate that is willing to take this opportunity and turn it into a career.
