# Job Title: Family Law Attorney ## Law Firm Hiring Experienced Family Law Attorney C.E. Borman & Associates is a family law team of attorneys and legal professionals who provide straight talk and honest advice. We re looking for an experienced attorney who has a passion for the law and for helping people. If you want to grow, and expand your legal skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, growth-oriented firm, then we might be the perfect fit. **Responsibilities:** - Provide legal services including legal research; drafting motions, pleadings, orders, judgments, and status updates; and overseeing and analyzing discovery - Client interface and meetings - Develop legal strategies and advise clients regarding their best legal interests, serving as the principal contact between the Firm and the clients - Represent clients at mediation, in deposition, and in court for motions, trials, and other types of hearings - Manage cases from inception through trial **Qualifications:** - 2+ years of family law legal experience (first chair experience in 3+ contested property and 3+ contested custody bench trials) - Graduate of an accredited law school- Juris Doctorate - Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar - Ability to promote yourself as a skilled family law litigator - Strong work ethic - A positive attitude with a perspective of challenges are growth opportunities - Knowledge of the basic use of computers and the desire to learn new things that will make your jobs easier. Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Dropbox, electronic legal research, and basic case management - Must be an effective and clear communicator - Must be able to track and meet minimum billable requirements - Must be an excellent and creative writer - Strong belief in teamwork and desire to contribute to the team's success in meeting its mission - A desire to help others with compassion and understanding - Confident, independent, decisive, and take responsibility for your actions - Enjoy a challenge, can learn quickly, and love details - Strategic, big-picture thinker who can also execute **Compensation:** C.E. Borman & Associates offers competitive pay, paid holidays, bonuses, retirement, and health insurance. Our compensation for this role is $65,000 - 75,000 based on experience + bonuses. ## About C.E.
