Immigration Paralegal The candidate will be communicating by phone and email with clients, gather and review documents and facts for preparation of forms and applications. Will be inputting data into immigration forms, drafting letters, and compile filings for review by attorneys and for submission to government agencies and the immigration court. Interviewing clients to prepare client affidavits in support of applications; using software programs such as LawLogix, Word 2013, Excel, Adobe Reader and Pro, and Outlook 2013. Putting applications together, scanning, typing, copying and mailing out applications.
The candidate should have Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational degree. Paralegal Certificate or program preferred. Must have 1 year of experience. Experience with immigration law preferred. Must have excellent writing and oral communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel 2013, Adobe Acrobat Pro essential. Spanish speaking preferred. Deadline: January 10, 2018.
