Nurse Paralegal The candidate should have 3 years of nurse paralegal experience in personal injury, preferably medical malpractice (labor & delivery, neonatal, a plus). Responsibilities and skills should include, self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision; detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments, and be pro-active in managing caseload; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to organize, review and analyze medical records; ability to summarize and create medical chronologies of pertinent facts (i.e., breach of SOC) and key documents; perform medical and literature research; schedule and prepare attorney for case-related meetings, strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe, Outlook, and Excel. Knowledge of Captorra, File Vine, or similar time management programs is helpful.
