Associate Attorney / Of Counsel The candidate must be licensed to practice in California and have practiced in one or more of the following areas 1 year: Healthcare regulatory (familiarity with healthcare regulatory issues, such as Stark, fraud and abuse, reimbursement-related issues, licensing and enrollment) would be a plus. Transactional business law (mergers and acquisitions/ dispositions, securities, tax or other business transactions). Significant client contact. Depending on the candidate, this position could involve significant time in the following areas: drafting of various healthcare-related agreements (billing, management, physician services, etc.); providing regulatory compliance advice; drafting various business agreements (operating agreements, etc.); participation in the firm's mergers and acquisitions/ dispositions practice; participation in the firm's securities practice (private placement and disclosure documents); healthcare licensing and enrollment; entity formation/planning; business planning and general corporate.
