Labor and Employment Attorney The candidate should have a Juris Doctorate and in good standing with the FL Bar. Should be a graduate of a top-tier law school with academic excellence. Should have 3+ years of litigation experience with labor, employment, workers' compensation. Should have a license in good standing with the Florida Bar; federal court admission a plus. Bar License and Admission to Federal districts preferred. Experience with taking depositions, motions, and settlement negotiations required. Collaborative leadership skills; outstanding negotiation skills, organizational/interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral skills required. Should be able to maintain composure and perspective in high volume/high-stress situations. Must be willing to utilize, manage and mentor a strong support team of paralegals and legal assistants. Spanish a plus. Must be an independent worker of high integrity, requiring minimal supervision.
