Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will be assisting the Managing Attorney with carrying out their administrative duties, including calendaring and coordination of meetings. Administrative duties including mail management, document processing, faxing, filing, and copying casework. Handling preparation, review, and assembly of client and/or firm audit reports. Reviewing documents to ensure accuracy. Monitoring progress of cases to ensure all are processed within deadlines. Communicating with various departments within the firm to aid in client reporting, case-level inquiry resolution, and inventory management. Filing pleadings with courts and communication with court staff on case statuses. Searching various databases to obtain collection information. Performing various other special projects as directed by Managing Attorneys. Experience of 1 year in legal office required. Familiarity with collections and interest in working in a high-volume environment preferred. Must have the ability to successfully manage competing demands. Must be Must be capable of learning involved in technology. Must be capable of handling large volumes of case logs. Note: Urgently hiring.
