Associate Attorney The candidate will have to manage multiple tasks and clients with professionalism. Will need to have an extreme passion for the Immigration legal part of practice. Experience in one or more of our legal practice areas is preferred. Will involve learning how to handle clients, how to research effectively, and how to represent the best interests of our clients in court. Take an active part in meetings with clients, understand the issues at hand, and come up with a possible direction to handle and resolve the case; Be prepared to assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and interviews, and to participate in legal proceedings to gain experience; Study and identify the laws that are applicable to each case; Conduct thorough research and assist in gathering all relevant data and information to present the best case possible for our clients in court; Prepare and draft various legal arguments, briefs, and other relevant legal material and reports. Qualifications: 1+ years of experience as an Immigration Attorney. Waiting for Bar results. Must be in their third year of schooling or have a JD Degree and have already taken and/or passed the state Bar exam. Until Bar results are obtained, such applicants may work as legal interns. Ability to comprehend complex fact patterns and legal situations and identify the laws that are applicable to them; Strong interpersonal relationship skills, willing to work on a heavy clientele interaction atmosphere; Bilingual Spanish/English with strong communication skills, with a go get it personality; Compassionate with a heart for others and team work oriented; Ability to work independently and show sound judgement when making decisions. Strong work ethic, with an outgoing personality.
