Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal The candidate will be marshalling, organizing and analyzing asset information. Valuation of assets and strategize allocation to subtrusts. Preparation of inventories, asset allocation agreements, asset transfer documents, and Judicial Council forms. Researching and drafting grant deeds, trust transfer deeds, and supporting documents. Drafting probate pleadings, including fiduciary reports/accountings, Spousal Property petitions, Heggstad petitions, etc. Assisting with Estate and Gift Tax return preparation. Ability to disseminate information from bank, brokerage and other financial statements required. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, financial institutions, government agencies and attorneys required. Familiarity with local court rules and procedures required. Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and take direction from attorneys required. Meticulous attention to detail required. Ability to multitask, manage large caseload in a consistent and timely manner, and track and meet deadlines required. Ability to track and report billable hours in a timely manner and meet billable hour expectations required. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, Publisher required. Experience in trust, estate or probate administration required. Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program required.
