Associate Attorney - Estate Planning/Estate Administration The candidate is responsible for all aspects of client matters. Conducts initial consultations and devises strategies in conjunction with Senior Partner. Must have 1+ years of experience preparing / drafting documents (Durable Powers of Attorney for Financial Management, Advance Health Care Directives, Wills, Living Trusts, funding Living Trusts, annual reviews and routine amendments) and a good understanding of more sophisticated Estate Plans including QPRTs, GRATs, IDGTs, Charitable Trusts and other Advanced Planning techniques. Advises on estate, gift and income tax matters. Experience in Probate, Estate Administration, Conservatorships, Allocation Agreements and 850 Petitions. Should be licensed to practice law in California. One to three years of experience in Trusts and Estate Law. Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Team-focused work style, with equal ability to be a leader or a participant and enjoy both. A positive and productive attitude. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must have the ability to prioritize, coordinate and handle multiple projects to meet deadlines.
