First-Party Insurance Paralegal The candidate will handle all calls to clients and providers. Should preferably have an Associated degree. Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experienced in preparing discovery responses is needed. Extensive experience with trial and mediation prep is required. Experience with e-filing in state/federal courts is essential. Should have excellent organizational, communication, writing, and research skills. Fluency in Spanish is helpful. Proficiency in technology and able to adapt to Case Management Software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary. Should be organized and self-motivated with high attention to detail. The ability to communicate efficiently, calculate damages and answer interrogatories and requests to produce is important. The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is a prerequisite.
