Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: Conduct research to support legal proceedings Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes Record and store client information Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness; Create and maintain client matter files; assist attorneys and support staff with case management; Prepare and coordinate service of subpoenas, notices of deposition, and other documents for witnesses and parties to actions; Coordinate discovery including the drafting, responding, and calendaring discovery deadlines for interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admissions, and other requests for information in accordance with the federal rules and procedures; Preparing evidence, exhibits, affidavits, and other documents for use in legal proceedings; Assists attorneys for hearings, trials, meetings, depositions, or administrative hearings; Schedule and manage the docket calendar entries, court deadlines, and other case related deadlines. Qualifications: 3+ years of working as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal; Knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office and familiarity with legal procedures; Familiar with federal district courts and e-filing in federal court; Excellent secretarial and organizational skills; Ability to handle multiple activities and work under pressure; Strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills; Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; Deadline and detail-oriented Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel; Detail-oriented and time management skills.
